BARCELONA, Spain – “Dark Knight” star Christian Bale has asked for privacy following allegations he assaulted his mother and sister in a London hotel.
The Welsh-born actor, in his first public comments, says the incident is a “deeply personal matter.” Bale made the comment at a press conference in Barcelona, Spain, during a tour to promote the new Batman movie.
Bale spent four hours talking to British police following allegations that he assaulted his mother and one of his three sisters in his suite at London's Dorchester Hotel.
